Adding outdoor camera coverage to the UniFi system Onside installed earlier this year. The existing interior cameras, AI Turrets, AI 360s, and U7 Pro Max access point all stay — these new cameras adopt into the same controller. Three options below; recommended path is in the middle.
The building at 8933 Katy Frwy is a 312 ft multi-tenant strip — BCA occupies the south end with ~141 ft of east-facing frontage; the rest of the building runs north and houses other tenants (Carter's Country, Bluegrass Steak House, others). Mounts stay entirely on BCA's tenant footprint — both east-facing corners of BCA, plus the SW back-side wrap. The Gaylord Dr entry is the chokepoint that matters for BCA.
Three UVC-G6-180 cameras on BCA's tenant footprint cover the parking field — two on the east soffit at BCA's corners (front), one on the west face mid-span (back). Each one's 180° arc looks outward, so frontage and back-side both get redundant wide coverage. Then two dedicated telephoto cameras mounted at opposite ends of BCA — one aimed north, one aimed south — capture license plates from both directions of approach as vehicles drive past. Every car that enters from either entry gets plate-readable framing.
South-east corner of BCA's footprint. 180° arc covers the south end of the frontage parking + the Gaylord Dr entry approach. Soffit-mounted, fed from interior.
BCA's east soffit at the north tenant boundary — right above the storefront entry awning. Arc covers the north half of BCA's 141 ft frontage, the entry approach, and overlaps with camera 1 in the middle of the lot.
Mid-span of BCA's west face, looking out over the back parking. The 180° arc covers Zone B end-to-end — better dedicated detail for the back/side than a corner mount would deliver.
Mounted at BCA's south end, aimed north up the parking aisle. Captures plates of vehicles entering from the I-10 frontage road as they drive south toward BCA. The ~100 ft drive aisle length sits inside G5 Pro's purpose-built LPR range.
Mounted at BCA's north tenant boundary, aimed south down the parking aisle. Captures plates of vehicles entering from Gaylord Dr as they drive north into the lot. Pairs with camera 4 to cover both directions of approach.
Compact indoor camera for the upstairs space. IR night vision for after-hours coverage. PoE-powered, adopts into the existing controller alongside the other interior cameras.
Every option extends the UniFi system Onside installed earlier this year — interior cameras, AI Turrets, AI 360s, U7 Pro Max access point, controller, PoE switch. The new cameras adopt into the same controller and show up alongside the existing ones in one app. If we need to add PoE capacity for the new cameras, it's called out as a contingency line — not buried.
All prices are single all-in numbers — hardware, shipping, sales tax on materials, supporting parts (Cat6, mounts, surge protectors, terminations), and installation labor at $135/hr (current Gulf Coast commercial rate for UniFi specialty work). No surprise tax line at the end. Existing PoE switch has open capacity for the Phase 2 cameras.

Single all-in number — hardware, shipping, sales tax on materials, and labor. No itemized tax line. 50% deposit on accept, balance due on completion (same structure as the Phase 1 install). Invoice issued through Stripe; payment by card, ACH, or check.
Confirm mount points, verify PoE capacity on existing switch, mark cable runs.
Cable from interior IDF to each mount, drill from inside out, fit cameras and weatherproof.
Cameras adopted into the existing UniFi controller. Each one aimed for its coverage role. LPR cone dialed in at the entry.
Live view together. Motion zones set. You leave with a working system, not a punch list.
Estimated on-site time: 2 days. Quiet hours preferred to keep customers undisturbed; we can split across early mornings or after close depending on shop hours.
Custom applications, automation, networking and physical infrastructure — and we keep running it after launch. Gulf Coast Texas, with proof points across insurance, charters, property services, and retail.
The UniFi system at BCA was installed by Onside in 2025 — interior cameras, AI Turrets, AI 360s, U7 Pro Max access point, controller, and switching. This proposal extends that footprint outward without rip-and-replace. Every new camera adopts into the controller you already have; one app, one system.
Pick an option above and reply with a green light. We'll send a Stripe invoice for the 50% deposit and lock a date for the walk + install. Estimated 2-day install window once parts are on hand.
